James Harden Turns Coach in a Bid to Inspire Young Kids

Nine-time NBA All-Star James Harden is one of the best players in the NBA at the moment. He was named the NBA MVP in 2018 when he used to play for Houston Rockets. Currently one of the best shooters in the NBA at the moment, Harden has bossed the shooting guard position over the years. He has won several accolades that many NBA players can only dream of.

To be the best in the business, one needs to have a strong work ethic and focus. They need to have what it takes to succeed in the NBA. Harden has a similar story. He has worked hard over the years and is now able to produce historic figures every season and break records. However, despite all the success, Harden lacks a championship.

Many just see the Harden that scores of fun on the court. But very few acknowledge the hard work he has been putting in off of it. A video has recently gone viral on social media where Harden was talking to some kids about the work ethic. What better than to hear about work ethic from one of the best in the game.

Harden had an opportunity to talk to young kids playing basketball, and he made the most of it. He talked to them about work ethic and passion.

James Harden started his NBA career at Oklahoma City Thunder and was used as a backup. In his first three seasons in the NBA, he started just seven regular-season games. However, he worked hard and earned his place in the starting lineup in Houston. However, last season Harden showed up late at Houston Rockets‘ training camp ahead of the 2020-21 NBA season and was criticized by many.

After playing eight games with the Rockets, he was traded to the Nets in a four-team deal. Harden started his stint in Brooklyn with a bang as he dropped a triple-double in his debut Nets game.

However, his 2020-21 season was marred by injuries. But despite that, he played 36 games and averaged 24.6 PPG. But Harden has been a gamer and barely missed any games before. He will now be planning to come back stronger in the coming season and win his first NBA championship.
