GQ recently released former Houston Rockets star Scottie Pippen’s memoir excerpt. It focused on the developing friction in his relationship with Jordan after the release of ‘The Last Dance’. Amidst the Scottie Pippen- Michael Jordan conflict, the NBA community surely knows how to distract itself.
Subsequently, Houston Rockets star Christian Wood took to Twitter to point out that he has been told he looks like the Chicago Bulls legend. This comes after fans spotted a LeBron James lookalike in the crowd during a Lakers game against the Rockets. And the NBA fans had some hilarious responses to his observation.
I keep hearing I look like Scottie pippen lol 🤔😂

What does this mean for the Houston Rockets?
Scottie Pippen’s stay at the Rockets was very brief after the Chicago Bulls dynasty run ended. While his salary at Houston was much higher than his entire tenure at Bulls, his stay at the Rockets was very short. So while it marked a personal achievement for Pippen, he did not really help the franchise greatly.

Houston fans will hope that Wood’s career should be as star-studded as Pippen‘s. However, his stay at the Rockets should be like Pippen’s run with the Bulls and not like Pippen’s stint with Houston itself.

After the release of The Last Dance, the immensely successful ESPN/Netflix docuseries on the Chicago Bulls’ glory years in the 1990s, Scottie Pippen expressed his dissatisfaction with Michael Jordan‘s outsized influence depicted in the movie.
In the 10-part docuseries, Pippen, the Hall of Fame small forward who was Jordan’s most valuable teammate during their run of six NBA titles in eight years, defines himself as “nothing more than a prop” in his upcoming biography, Unguarded.
