Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling this season so far with a 16-18 record. They are currently on a five-game winless run and will face a struggling Houston Rockets side next. LeBron James has been their shining star this season but received only a little help from starters such as Russell Westbrook.

For the last few seasons, Westbrook has been performing on the top level and has been great individually. The Triple Double King’s numbers speak for themselves. His numbers have been too good, and that’s what puts him among the best players in the league.

Wolves star Karl-Anthony Towns thinks otherwise and believes that Russ ‘chases stats‘. However, Draymond Green and Joel Embiid criticized Towns over his comments on Russ. Towns has responded to Green’s comment on Instagram.

“I’m the coach? Oh s***, I’m Bill Russell. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Bill Russell. I forgot I was Bill Russell, too. “But hey listen, a hell of a team. I ain’t here to do none of all that disrespectful s*** and all that stuff. Nah, I ain’t here to do all that.” He added, ” Listen, you won by 20. Your team is a hell of a team, an all-time team. Towns was quick to respond to Green’s comments over his statements on Westbrook. However, he focused on the game part and even admitted that the Warriors are an all-time team.

Westbrook, on the other side, has struggled to settle in at the Lakers and has been criticized for not being consistent. He used to be the main man for the teams in the past few years. However, that is not the case at the Lakers as they already have their star duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
