LeBron James has the habit of celebrating championship victories with cigars. Fans find it very wholesome that they have witnessed this tradition down from the days of Michael Jordan. However, we have most probably never seen this before, that he walks into a regular-season game with a cigar in his hand.

A bit too much confidence from LeBron James?

Ahead of the regular season game against the top-seeded Phoenix Suns, the media spotted James entering the Staples Center. The unique factor of this entrance was that he had a cigar in his hand. Kenny Smith described that as “Disrespectful” while fans went crazy about this display of confidence.

Kenny Smith said, “Yo! That’s disrespectful. We lose that game and you came in with a cigar? Yo Shaq, I ain’t a fighter but I’d fight everybody in the locker room!”

While it may be too early to celebrate anything at the moment, this is probably a display of his confidence coming into this game.

What does this mean for the Lakers?

Coming into this game, the Lakers have a long list of injuries and unavailable players because of health protocols. Facing the side that is currently the favorite in the conference is not easy at all. Therefore, coming into the game as the seventh seed, they need all the confidence and luck to be on their side.
