Gifting the 2-time NBA champion a fine bottle of wine, Bryant had a subtle taunt for Gasol as she wrote, “I’ll believe it when I see it. Congratulations on your retirement” aiming to the fact that Gasol already made a comeback after stepping away from the game.

Gasol certainly had a good laugh with the taunt and even that by writing, “Thank you, sister!!” in his Instagram story. Gasol and Kobe certainly had a connection on and off the court.

Given that the Spaniard has now stepped away from the game, Kobe will finally see his wish being fulfilled. Do you think Pau Gasol is a first ballot Hall of Famer?
