LeBron James is arguably the best player in the league right now. With a career that has already lasted 18-years and counting, James has continued to be one of the best all-round players in the league and if not for his freak high ankle sprain, was one of the favorites to win the MVP trophy.

LeBron James certainly has been incredibly active off the court. Be it investing in a footballing giant like Liverpool FC or be it the up-and-coming Blaze Pizza, James has been bold enough to take risks.
But perhaps one of his most successful creations has been that of Springfield Entertainment. Founded in 2020, the company has seen a mercurial rise in the first two years. Many have deservedly lauded the production company who have been a part of projects like Space Jam: New Legacy and The Shop.

Multiple investors have lined up for the company following its incredible success. Recently it was reported that a consortium of Nike, Red Bird Capital and Fenway Sports Group are set to invest in the company.
While Forbes estimated the company’s net worth a whopping $300 million in the month of August, this new investment takes things to a different level all together. With this deal, the company’s value will increase to $650 million and $700 million.
