LeBron James Is Optimistic His Son Will Make It To The NBA: “I Want To Be On The Court With Him”

The Lakers have a monstrous roster at their helm but a certain 37-year-old is bailing them out of tough games. LeBron is still playing like his peak self and now his fans want him to be on the same court as his son, Bronny.

Bronny James is the eldest child of LeBron James currently plays for Sierra Canyon School. He is also into basketball and can play as a guard. He averaged 4.1 PPG as a freshman for Sierra Canyon and played in all 34 games for them. With Bronny getting all the hype in the world, fans want LeBron and Bronny playing alongside each other.

LeBron is close to retirement but continues to be the best player for his team. But Bronny is slowly making his name in the sport as well. Still performing at a top level, James is optimistic about playing on the same court as his son, Bronny.

“I want him to be in the NBA. I am not going to lie,” James said.

“I want to be on the court with him. I think that will be an unbelievable moment. He’s about to be a junior, so the years, it could get close, but we should see, but I want him to get to the NBA.”

As per recent reports, Bronny James will be eligible for the NBA draft in 2024. Bronny hasn’t been very active in the media, but he has let his game do all the work. That has attracted attention, with people already touting him as a future NBA great. Bronny will be able to graduate from high school in 2023 and due to NBA rules, he can play in the league only after one season as a freshman. That makes him a top contender for the 2024 Draft.

LeBron James’ contract with the Lakers is set to run out in 2023. But James has been delivering week in, week out for the Lakers, making him a top contender for the MVP this season.
