LeBron James is one of the best players in the NBA and has a large fanbase around the world. However, during his high school days, he used to play football as well. In fact, he was in his high school team and played as a wide receiver. Wonder what could have been if LeBron preferred football over basketball after high school.

But LeBron’s love for football has always been there despite him playing in the NBA. He is 36 and is still going strong in the NBA. He owes his success and longevity to incredible training and routine over the years. Even during the breaks, LeBron follows a strict regimen.

Many would think that all LeBron does is training and working out. However, the four-time NBA champion has a love for playing video games during his free time. In fact, he has found an addictive game that has stolen his sleep.

LeBron James found an addictive game in Madden NFL

LeBron recently shared a clip of himself playing Madden NFL on Instagram. He mentioned on his Instagram that the game is addictive and is stealing his sleep.

“FLAT OUT ADDICT MAN!!🤦. WHY AM I STILL UP. PUT THE 🎮 DOWN & GO TO BED,” LeBron’s caption read.

We all know where the love for this video game is coming from. LeBron was a talented football player in his youth days and once admitted that he gave a thought to a career in football. In a recent interview earlier this year, LeBron James admitted that he gave serious thought to a potential football career.

LeBron decided to focus on his basketball career after high school and his football career ended after that. However, in 2011, an opportunity arrived for him to play in the NFL. The lockout in 2011 delayed the start of the new season and, hence, due to an agreement, no one could have stopped LeBron from playing in the NFL.

The Cowboys and the Seahawks invited him for a workout. He gave a thought to this opportunity but declined the offer and continued with basketball. He can’t play football on the field, but no one’s stopping him from playing the video game.
