When you have LeBron James in your team, a Finals appearance is almost guaranteed. But if your team fails to do the same, you surely need to make some major changes to the roster. So when the Lakers finished their season with a first round loss, the front office was quick to act and rightly made some massive changes to the roster.

While shipping away misfits like Dennis Schroder seemed like a great decision, one of the toughest decisions by the Lakers was the decision to let go off rotational guard Alex Caruso. The 26-year-old who primarily came off the bench, acted as a great backup for the Lakers.

Although Caruso did not post the best stats for the team, he had decent passing skills and brought the intensity in the defensive end as well. In a season which was marred with injuries, Caruso really stood out as a positive for the team.

The superstar forward who has been with the Lakers for three seasons now, loved the way Caruso brought the intensity on the floor and showed instant on-court chemistry with the guard with alley-oops a regular feature of the duo.

Despite the 26-year-old’s move to Eastern Conference juggernauts Chicago Bulls, it seems James’ love for Caruso hasn’t dialled down it seems. In a recent Instagram story, LBJ has was all praises for the ‘Bald Eagle’.

Although they have added the likes of Rajon Rondo and Kent Bazemore, many of their veterans aren’t in their physical peaks anymore.
