Many believe that LeBron James has been single-handedly carrying the Lakers this season. James was on fire again for the Lakers in their last game, but couldn’t save them against the Grizzlies. While the Lakers are struggling, some of their former stars who left during the summer have been doing really well.

Former Lakers star Kyle Kuzma has settled in well at the Wizards. Kuzma recently stepped up for the Wizards as they beat Oklahoma City Thunder by 4 points. Kyle recorded 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists vs the Thunder in 35 mins.

Earlier, he was a regular starter for the Lakers for a season but lost his place during their championship-winning season.

Last season, he started 32 of the 68 games he played and the Lakers traded him to the Wizards. He has averaged 26.6 points per game in his last eight games, which is nothing short of impressive. However, after his performance vs. the Thunder, NBA Twitter came up with some hilarious reactions targeting LeBron.

Kuzma has started 39 games this season for the Wizards, already more than his starts from his last season with the Lakers. He is currently averaging 15.6 points per game this season, better than his last two seasons with the Lakers. He has been in great form since leaving the Lakers during the off-season and it appears that the move worked out for him.

LeBron James got one of the best rosters at his disposal this summer with the Lakers, but their performances have been far from good. James has been their only positive this season as several key signings are struggling to adapt. The Lakers are currently on 21-20 this season and next face a struggling Sacramento side on the road.
