After seeming to be friends with Embiid for so many years, sources claim that Ben Simmons is leaving because they cannot play together.

And after hearing what Embidd had to say no one could have imagined Simmons leaving because of him. He had said, “As far as our relationship, you can see it on the court.”
Embiid added. “Not that there was anything before, but I think we’ve gotten way closer than before. We’ve been close before, but this year has just been amazing. I always say I love playing with him and I think we got a chance.”

What does this mean for the Philadelphia 76ers?
Since Simmons has confirmed he is not playing another game in the 76ers jersey, this will not really impact the chemistry on the court. Unless other players also feel the same way and haven’t spoken up about it yet. However, there is no confirmation of the same.
Therefore, the 76ers will not really see a difference on the floor. Although this might mean more time on the floor for Thybulle, however, even that can’t be said for certain. What is certain is that Ben and Embiid are apparently not as close as Embiid thought they are.
