In fact, to everyone’s surprise, Isiah Thomas, who played for Bulls’ fierce rivals, the Pistons, was from Chicago. Isiah Thomas was born in Chicago and played for St. Joseph in Westchester in high school. Former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has recently admitted that Isiah is the greatest player in Chicago.

Former Heat star Dwyane Wade recently sat down for an interview with the ‘Armchair Expert’. During the interview, he revealed that Isiah is the greatest player in Chicago.

“Isiah Thomas is from Chicago. He’s the greatest player in Chicago,” Wade said.

We all can relate to Wade, who realized later that Isiah is from Chicago. Wade is a big-time Jordan fan and grew up watching the Bulls win several championships during the 90s. Bulls had a fierce rivalry with the Pistons back then.

After his high school in Illinois, Isiah attended college in Indiana and made himself eligible for the 1981 draft. The Pistons drafted him as the 2nd overall pick and quickly signed him. That move paid off for the Pistons as they went on to win two championships with him.
