Michael Jordan’s ‘The Last Dance’ was one of the highlights in the sports world during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 10-part docuseries covered a plethora of topics but did not include any interview from Prieto or Jordan’s ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. As per producer Mike Tollin, it was because they – director Jason Hehir and him – were not really interested in that angle of Jordan’s life.

“We had a checklist: gambling, a conspiracy theory about retirement, his father’s death, his lack of activism, and his teammates. I think we touched on all categories,” Tollin said, explaining that they wanted everything to do with Jordan’s work and not his personal life. “Michael is one of the most private people of our lifetimes. He’s glad this is over”.

Tollin also added that while the 58-year-old did not have any restrictions, they did not feel that adding anything about his wives would help the show.
