The GOAT debate in basketball is an endless argument and eventually comes down to individual opinions. However, two names that always make it to the discussions are LeBron James and Michael Jordan. While Jordan won six NBA championships with Chicago Bulls, LeBron James is a four-time winner and is on the hunt for his fifth.

Michael Jordan has been credited with revolutionizing the game of basketball during the 90s. He paved way for the commercial success of the NBA and continues to reap the benefits from it. Jordan had a successful career post-retirement and is now the richest NBA player of all time. LeBron James isn’t far behind either. Despite still playing, he is among the top 5 richest NBA players of all time with a net worth of $500 million.

Michael Jordan explains how to stop LeBron James

Former NBA star Michael Jordan once gave an interview to ESPN in 2013. During the interview, he revealed how to stop LeBron James.

“So if I have to guard him… I’m gonna push him left, so nine times out of 10, he’s gonna shoot a jump shot. If he goes right, he’s going to the hole and I can’t stop him. So I ain’t letting him go right,” Jordan told ESPN.

This proves that, despite retiring in 2003, Jordan is still sharp at basketball. In fact, Jordan analyzing LeBron‘s game shows how good a player the latter is.
