NBA fans aren’t the only ones rejoicing the return of Isaiah Thomas to the league. Even his fellow NBA players are excited to see him back on the court. The Lakers recently confirmed the return of Isaiah Thomas as they brought him on a 10-day contract to bring some depth for LeBron James to work with. Thomas clearly committed to the grind and made his way back to the NBA with LeBron James and the Lakers. However, this is not his first stint with the Lakers. In 2018, the Lakers also brought him on but after only a few games they ruled him out for the rest of the season because of injury problems.
Nevertheless, the Lakers have brought him back on after he was patient and worked hard for his return to the NBA.
Moreover, he previously also played for New Orleans Pelicans on a 10-day contract last season. They did not re-sign him and hence he was forced to play in the G-League. Consequently, if he continues his tremendous form in the NBA, who knows he might earn a longer contract? Therefore, this support from his colleagues could go a long way in helping him maintain his confidence.
