The 2021-22 NBA season has been nothing short of exciting for fans around the world. In just one day, NBA fans got to witness two insane buzzer-beater winners from beyond the arc. Austin Reaves won the game for the Lakers in the final few seconds. On the other side, in Oklahoma, Devonte’ Graham won the game for the Pelicans with a miraculous 61-foot buzzer-beater.

Two struggling NBA sides, Oklahoma City Thunder and New Orleans Pelicans met each other at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. However, the game ended in an exciting fashion as fans witness two three-pointers in the final 3 seconds.

Oklahoma’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a three-pointer with just 3 seconds left on the clock to tie the game. The scoreboard read 110-110 with just 1.4 seconds left on the clock. While Thunder fans were busy celebrating the equalizer, Pelicans’ Devonte’ Graham received the ball and attempted a shot directly from 61 feet out. It went in and the Pelicans won the game 113-110. The insane end to the Thunder-Pelicans game has attracted some crazy reactions from NBA fans on Twitter.

The game between the Thunder and the Pelicans was an exciting one as NBA fans got to witness two crazy three-pointers in the final few seconds.

While it ended in heartbreak for the Thunder, it was an important win for the Pelicans. For the neutral observer, it will be one of the best games of the season so far. These are some of the best reactions to the tussle between the Thunder and the Pelicans.

Devonte’ Graham certainly knew that isn’t over yet and dropped arguably the best buzzer-beater this season. He later admitted that he used to practice half-court shots previously in Kansas.

“When I was at Kansas, I used to shoot half-court shots every game, every practice — trick shots and stuff like that,” said Graham.

Graham finished the night with 15 points in 33 mins. However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an unreal game as well, as he scored 33 points and recorded 5 rebounds in 37 mins. The Pelicans improved to 9-21 and will now face defending champions Milwaukee Bucks at home.
