What does this mean for Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, and the Chicago Bulls?

Ball and Caruso had their first stint together at the Lakers from 2017 to 2019. While that did not end in a success, this time it feels different. This time they are not merely role players in the team. Moreover, they have considerably improved their performances on the court.

Caruso even has a championship ring in his list of achievements. Therefore, they have come a long way from how they were when they started their first stint.

The Bulls may have the most to gain from this. They already had Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic on their roster before the start of the season. Then they further added DeRozan, Ball and Caruso to that exceptional core. Consequently, they now look like championship contenders from the Eastern Conference.
