A celebrity wedding usually goes two ways — a quiet affair with close friends and family or a celebration of love with more stars attending than you’ll ever see in your life. Portland Trail Blazers icon Damian Lillard his longtime girlfriend Kay’La Hanson’s wedding leaned towards the star-studded style, with their friends and family coming together for some stellar performances.

If you look at it, Lillard’s off-season has been eventful in many ways. Starting off with the gold at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, his off-season will end on a high note as he marries Hanson. Of course, they took care that the holiday weekend was more than perfect.

Who all attended Dame’s iconic wedding bash over the weekend?

Teammates CJ McCollum, Jusuf  Nurkić, Evan Turner, and Tim Frazer were all present, spending some quality time with the 31-year-old. The main attraction for most fans were the performances, especially as Common, Snoop Dogg, and Tevin Campbell took to the stage. Lillard also shared stories uploaded by others on his Instagram, giving everyone more clips and photos from their wedding.

Naturally, fans loved to witness the few stories and so shared by stars who did attend the wedding. Everyone congratulated the happy couple, some wondering if the ceremony might bring along unexpected title luck for the Portland star. Playing with the Trail Blazers for his entire career, Lillard and the team are in constant pursuit for the title.

#ItsAboutDameTime: How did Damian Lillard and Hanson meet?

The two met when they were at Weber State University (Utah), and have been dating ever since. Engaged last year in February, the two of them welcomed their son Dame Jr to the world on March 29, 2018. For some days, Hanson had been posting photos on her social media account with the hashtag #ItsAboutDameTime, letting people know that the day was indeed very near.

Hanson is the owner of her own salon called Dipped, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She promotes her business often and is mostly active on social media.

They also have twins together — a girl, Kali Emma Lee Lillard, and a boy, Kalii Laheem Lillard.
