Los Angeles Clippers have been struggling this season and are currently on a 21-21 record. The Clippers are currently 8th on the western conference table and have lost 6 of their last 10 games. The main reason behind this is that they are currently missing some of their star players due to injuries.

The Clippers currently miss their star player in Kawhi Leonard and it’s clearly visible this season. In fact, Paul George being out due to an elbow injury hasn’t helped their situation this season either. However, they are ready to make some noise this season as they’re preparing for a quick roster overhaul mid-season.

Several players have been underperforming for the Clippers and have failed to step up in the absence of Kawhi and Paul George. According to reports, the Clipper could trade Marcus Morris Sr. along with some other veterans to revamp their roster this season.

According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, the Clippers are trying to rebuild their roster and could trade Marcus Morris Sr. Morris is currently the third-highest scorer for the Clippers this season with 16.2 PPG.

“They’re pretty much open for business for anyone except their main guys and Terrance Mann,” a Western Conference official told Jake Fischer.

“I think they really are fine falling out of the playoffs and regrouping for next year. I think they’re trying to shed the Marcus Morrises of the world, guys that have some value and maybe can replace them with younger talent, maybe cheaper (contracts), to free them to get someone else this summer.”

The Clippers reached the conference finals last season for the first time in their history. Kawhi Leonard played an important role in the team performance last season. However, they could have been a better side with Kawhi on their side. Kawhi is still out and his return is yet to be known. Now, Paul George is injured as well, and the Clippers are in desperate need of new signings.

The Clippers recently won 87-85 against the Nuggets as they made an insane comeback in the 2nd half. But that doesn’t hide the fact that they need new signings to guide them to the playoffs this season.
