Los Angeles Lakers are 23-24 this season so far and things aren’t looking good at the team’s camp. LeBron James has been carrying the Lakers single-handedly this season without much support from others. Anthony Davis is out injured, while Russell Westbrook has failed to make his mark since signing with them.

With less than three weeks left for the trade deadline, there are several rumors of the Lakers trying to trade Westbrook and offload his $47.1 million owed for the 2022-23 season. The biggest name linked with the Westbrook trade is Houston Rockets star John Wall. However, there’s a huge similarity between Westbrook and John Wall’s past trades.

The Wizards, in a deal involving Russell Westbrook, traded John Wall to Houston Rockets in 2020. The very next summer, the Wizards traded Westbrook to the Lakers and acquired Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Aaron Holiday, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Isaiah Todd’s draft rights in exchange. However, now, according to a report, the Wizards are open to dealing with Spencer Dinwiddie, as he hasn’t settled in well alongside Bradley Beal.
