O’Neal – who is relatively active on Instagram – opted to post a story about Jordan.

Shaquille O’Neal praises Michael Jordan

O’Neal has always been all praises for Jordan. While on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the four-time NBA champion admitted to being terrified of Jordan the first time he played against him. He referred to him as the ‘greatest player’, unable to deny Jordan’s prowess. “Once I realized he was human … once I realized I’m not as good as him but I’m close, I kind of calmed down,” O’Neal said.

O’Neal, who started out with the Orlando Magic, moved on to play and win for the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. He has also played for the Phoenix Suns, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics, retiring in 2011.

On the other hand, Jordan spent most of his years with the Chicago Bulls. He played his last two seasons with the Washington Wizards, retiring in 2003 with three titles.
