Dwyane Wade won three NBA championships in his career, all with Miami Heat. He spent the majority of his career with this team, but also had brief one-year stints in between with the Bulls and the Cavaliers. However, he retired as a Heat as he returned to Miami after spending two years away from them.
Only a few of the players from the 2003 NBA draft are still playing in the NBA, notably Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. The 2003 draft was one of the most talented batches of players in the NBA. In fact, 15 players from that draft combined for 26 championships. However, Wade retired earlier than James and Carmelo and has been inactive since 2019.

Wade then quoted the tweet reminiscing about the good old days. However, this sparked reactions from NBA Twitter, who hinted at a comeback.

I remember watching that game, that running floater 3. Then immediately to the scorers table to state “this is my house”, one of those sport moments that gives me goosebumps and I wasn’t even a Heat fan https://t.co/ecllSERe6E

It’s unclear if Wade comes back or not, but fans certainly want him to make a return. The Heat have been performing fairly well this season and are 22-13 so far. They are currently on a four-game winning streak and can end the year on a high when they face the Rockets side next.

The Heat look good this season and have a good chance of making it to the playoffs. Wade’s return looks very unlikely at this point in time. Maybe, he might get an executive role at the franchise. At this point, one can only speculate.
