Philadelphia 76ers unwilling to include Tyrese Maxey in the potential James Harden deal

According to Michael Kaskey-Blomain, the Sixers don’t want to involve their young star in a potential deal for Nets star James Harden. Earlier, Sham Charania had reported that the Sixers have a ‘chest of role players’ in Curry, Thybulle, and Tyrese and could use them to ‘sweeten the deal’. However, now it appears that Tyrese Maxey won’t be a part of the potential Harden-Simmons deal.

The Ben Simmons saga has been going on since last August. The 25-year-old Sixers star requested a trade last year, but it didn’t come to fruition during the off-season. That led to a long standoff between the player and the franchise. However, not that the Nets are reportedly willing to trade James Harden, the Sixers are entertaining the offer.
