Stephen Curry and the Warriors might have been one of the most entertaining teams last season but riddled with injuries, the Dubs couldn’t make it to the playoffs last season. This season, the Warriors made some smart additions and are being considered as a dark horse contender.
While top teams in the Western Conference have been struggling to find their footing, the Dubs have looked formidable so far. With incredible play and some players rising to the occasion, the Warriors have also managed to beat the Lakers.
Coming into tonight’s game, Curry and Co. were one of the few teams in the league who were unbeaten. With a 4-0 record and Grizzlies missing a key player in Dillon Brooks, the Warriors were favorites to clinch the match.

Stephen Curry and his late game woes continue
The game between Grizzlies and the Warriors was a must watch. Curry and Co. initially looked unstoppable as the talismanic guard shot some incredible three pointers which might be unfathomable to many others.
With Steph shooting lights out, the Warriors found themselves in a 19-point lead. But it was Ja Morant who stepped up in the last moments of the game. Be it shooting from the deep or scoring a crafty layup, Morant did it all.

Although the 2-time MVP did lead the game in terms of scoring with 36 total points, he was simply absent in the last quarter and overtime as well. Unable to score a single point in nearly last 10 minutes, the likes of Damion Lee had some incredible clutch shots. But it wasn’t enough as the Dubs fell short with a 104-101 loss.

This is not the only game Curry has struggled to score in late game situation. In fact, in the last three games, the 3-time champion has failed to register a single point in the fourth quarter and overtime shooting 0-11 attempted shots.

While this might be early season jitters, Steph will be determined to make an impact, regardless. The Warriors aren’t as top heavy as they used to be, and one of the key members for their offense to succeed is Curry.
