LeBron James and Chris Paul are some of the greatest team leaders in the NBA. LeBron James has led all three teams he’s played for in the NBA, to at least one NBA championship. His most talked-about NBA title is the one he clinched with Cleveland Cavaliers, where he ended the city’s 52-year trophy drought. Teams perform better with LeBron on the pitch than without him.

“And that’s the most important thing for them is not just winning but helping their teammates win. There aren’t any limits to how far they’ll go to help their team win. So if that means having dinners, great, that means bringing guys in and listening to them. If that means spending extra time away, like going to a guy and meeting a guy where he is to bring him up to where you want him to go. That’s what those guys do because that’s their nature as leaders is to lead a team to victory.”

James Jones has had the opportunity to experience both LeBron and Chris Paul. He has played with LeBron in Miami and Cleveland, where he won three championships. Jones became an executive at Phoenix Suns after his playing career ended in 2017. Jones has experienced closely how good LeBron and Chris are and how they affect a team that’s young and ready to fight.
