The 2020-21 NBA season is finally set to start later this month, and the schedule is already out. Many teams have improved their roster and have established themselves as the title-contenders. The Lakers have landed some of the best players in the NBA, including the likes of Russell Westbrook.

However, this is Westbrook’s fourth team in four years. That makes it his third trade in three years. However, Westbrook is finally happy in his home town and so are the Lakers fans. Another fanbase from the Bay area is happy, as Klay Thompson is set to return after missing two years of action. However, his exact date of return isn’t known yet.

As the season starts, the memes on social media start flooding in with all the stats and records. An intriguing fact has gone viral on social media related to Westbrook and Klay.

Russell Westbrook has worn four different jerseys since Klay Thompson’s last NBA game. Klay Thompson played his last game in June 2019. Since then, Westbrook has been with Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Lakers. This fact has attracted reactions from NBA fans on Twitter.

A Reddit user posted a crazy fact regarding Klay and Westbrook on Reddit. The fact has now gone viral on Twitter. Russell Westbrook has been with four different teams since Klay last played an NBA game.

It seems a long time since everyone saw Klay playing for the Warriors. NBA Twitter has reacted to this intriguing fact and Klay Thompson fans surely didn’t like it.

Klay Thompson tore his ACL in his left knee during the sixth game of the playoffs vs Toronto Raptors. Klay had to leave midway through the third quarter as the Warriors lost the game and the series. During the 2019 off-season, he signed a five-year extension with the Warriors and missed the whole 2019-20 season after a successful ACL surgery.

Klay came back from the injury ahead of last season. However, he injured his Achilles in a pickup game in Los Angeles and was ruled out for another season.

Now finally, Thompson is set to play after missing two years of action. Thompson and Westbrook can play against each other this season when the Warriors play the Lakers. It’ll be interesting to see which guard gets the better of the other in the Warriors vs Lakers fixture.
