KJ Martin has undoubtedly shown his worth ever since he joined the Houston Rockets. From his athleticism to his rim protection, he’s hit the NBA with a fresh wave of excitement. Facing the Indiana Pacers tonight, he added yet another tall player to his long list of blocks on 7 ft or above bigs. On an attempt that almost seemed destined to go in from right below the rim, KJ Martin recovered on defense and showed off his incredible reflexes.

KJ Martin hit the league by storm with his rim protection last season. As a player listed at 6 ft 5 inches, he has blocked almost every 7ft or above big in the league. Arguably, he got at least the majority of 7ft bigs till last season and he adds yet another big to that list today.

KJ Martin is a part of the young core around whom the Houston Rockets is rebuilding their franchise. He reminds fans of a Blake Griffin in his early days, with the addition of incredible defensive reflexes. The NBA fans are excited about his future since he’s only in the second year of his professional career. Having blocked almost every 7 footer in the league, KJ Martin has added yet another name to that list today.

This game also marks the return of Jalen Green who’s had an impressive first half. He returns today after not playing for almost a month. He dropped four three-pointers in six shots in the first half of this game and had 12 points because of that.
