Miami Heat has been performing well this season with 24 victories. They added some quality players to their roster during the off-season to boost their chances of playoffs in this campaign. However, one of their signings, Markieff Morris, has been out for 30 games now after his altercation with Nikola Jokic in November 2021.

Heat star, Markieff Morris has missed 30 games now since being shoved from behind by Nuggets star Nikola Jokic. The incident between the two left the 32-year-old forward with severe pain in the back and neck. The incident happened back in November when the Knicks played Jokic’s Nuggets. Morris hasn’t forgotten that incident and still isn’t over with his beef with the reigning MVP. Morris recently took to Twitter to react to a post that mentioned him missing 30 games due to the altercation.

Nikola Jokic’s brothers react to Markieff Morris’ tweet reigniting beef with Jokic

A Twitter post went viral that talked about Morris missing 30 straight games for the Heat since he got ‘whiplash’ by Jokic.

However, Morris reacted to the post by mentioning that it is a real injury and used Jokic’s physique to explain it.

“Ain’t shit wild about it! It’s a real injury! Imagine having a 300 pound sloppy fat boy run full speed and make direct contact with your spine! I’ll be back soon like I said.,” Markieff Morris’ caption read.

After Morris’ reaction, Jokic’s brothers quickly came to his defense and called Morris a ‘cry baby’.

“YOU ARE LIE AND WATCH YOU SELF! YOU STILL HURT CRY BABY FROM BABY SHOVE !!,” the caption read.

Both Morris and Jokic were ejected after their altercation on the court during Heat vs Nuggets in November. Jokic had recorded 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists before being ejected. The Nuggets won the game 113-98 due to a strong first-half performance.

Morris has missed 30 games since then and his return isn’t known yet. He had played just 10 games for the Heat by then and averaged 7.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. After the reaction to the post, Morris followed up with another post for the Heat fans, hinting towards a comeback.
