Ayesha Curry reveals her family thought Stephen Curry as her brother
Steph and Ayesha recently appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. After introducing the loving couple, Jimmy asked them about their first impressions of each other. To this, Ayesha revealed the story of her family calling Steph her brother.
“You know, it’s so funny. I was maybe 14 years old when we first met, and I just remember thinking he was so cute and my family being like, ‘He looks like your brother.’ I don’t see it. For whatever reason, all of our family. Listen, we took 23andMe test, we’re in the clear. Everything’s fine,” Ayesha told Jimmy Fallon.

Steph and Ayesha met each other for the first time in 2002 at a church youth group. Steph’s father, Dell Curry, came back to North Carolina in 2002 after his retirement from the NBA. That is where Steph met with Ayesha for the first time.

The couple grew closer in 2008 when Ayesha came back to Charlotte from LA. Steph had just entered his junior year at Davidson College. A year later, Steph signed with Golden State Warriors and the rest is history. The two started dating each other and finally married in 2011.
