Earlier this year, EA promised on an investors’ call that it is going to release Battlefield 6 by fall 2021. With only a few months remaining till the proposed deadline, there is a lot EA has to deliver. Fans still don’t have the first reveal of the game or any gameplay footage. Therefore, if the publisher is planning a big reveal at the EA Play conference in July, it could drop some content at the upcoming E3 event.

Players can expect interviews from DICE employees or behind the scene development updates if not a full-fledged trailer. EA has a lot to make up for after the poor reception that the previous title got. Naturally, much is riding on Battlefield 6 as is in the works to save the franchise.

Another important development could be a new Star Wars title. With EA’s Disney license expiring in 2023, it can announce one last Star Wars game, and the E3 stage would be a perfect place to do this. It can be anything from a sequel to one of the previous games or a completely new standalone title.

Finally, EA Sports is one of the biggest divisions of the publisher, and many 2022 titles are lined up, including FIFA, PGA, NFL. Therefore, fans can also expect announcements on the same during E3 2021. Clearly, if Battlefield 6 is left out of the upcoming event, fans still have a lot more to be excited about.
