“Beautiful Little Paradise”- Buccaneer’s Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski Talk Life In Tampa Bay

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have played together since the latter entered the league. Brady was already a legitimate superstar when Gronkowski joined the New England Patriots.

The two became something of an iconic duo with the Patriots. Together, they won 3 Super Bowl championships with the Patriots in 2015, 2018, and 2019.

The departure of both from New England was the end of an era for the Patriots. Gronkowski retired from the NFL in 2018, citing mental health reasons. Whereas Brady left the Patriots in 2019 and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady convinced Gronkowski to come out of retirement and was able to get Tampa Bay to trade for him from the Patriots, who still had his rights. Brady showed a considerable amount of confidence in the former 5-time Pro-Bowl Tight End.

With Brady and Gronkowski reunited, the Buccaneers hope to recreate their magic and connection in Tampa. The goal is to get Tampa Bay to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2003.

‘Gronk’ and Brady have become accustomed to life at Tampa Bay. They’ve led the Buccaneers to a 7-3 start this season. And life in Tampa Bay is sweet right now.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski play ‘Overrated or Underrated’

Gronkowski and Brady sat down together for an edition of ‘Tommy and Gronkie’. The episode discussed overrated or underrated things. Brady asked Gronk, “Tampa Bay – Overrated or Underrated?” 

Gronkowski immediately spoke kindly of his new home, talking about how great Tampa Bay is as a city. “Underrated big time. You know, it’s a great city, a great family city. A lot going on, a lot of things to do, a lot of beaches.

“But really, no one really knows about Tampa Bay. It’s not a big city to the outside world, but it’s so underrated. But that’s alright, that’s how we like it.”

Brady chimed with his own views, talking about the simple, but beautiful lifestyle Tampa Bay provides. “It’s pretty quaint. It’s a little under the radar, but it’s like a hidden, beautiful little paradise down here…. got everything you need.

Gronk was just happy that the two players had nice grass and a pool to themselves. “Look at the grass, it’s green. We’ve got a pool. The weather’s beautiful.”

The two friends will want to get back to the summit of the NFL after 2 years of not playing together. It will be interesting to see if they can bring Tampa Bay some success.
