Cyborg is regarded as one of the best female fighters in the history of the sport. She has previously held titles in various MMA promotions, including UFC, Invicta, and Strikeforce.

The 36-year-old parted ways with UFC in 2019 and made her Bellator debut in 2020. Ever since her debut in Bellator, Cyborg has remained undefeated in four fights with three title defenses under her name.

Meanwhile, ‘Alpha’ also made her Bellator debut in 2020. She competed in two bouts and won both. However, she has been asking for a fight with Cyborg for a long time. Interestingly, it seems her wish is soon going to be fulfilled.

The Bellator featherweight champion has responded to Zingano’s wish. Cyborg recently agreed to fight the former UFC fighter on 11th March this year and also tagged the Bellator boss in the post.

Cyborg has lost only once since 2015 and she has defeated all her opponents in Bellator via a finish. Hence, it won’t be a walk in the park for Zingano to face the champion.

However, if this fight comes to fruition, it will be a delightful treat for the fight fans to watch Cyborg in action again. Meanwhile, this is not the only thing Cyborg is in the news for.

Cris Cyborg Shows Her Support to Henry Cejudo

The former two-division champion of UFC Henry Cejudo retired from professional fighting after his successful defense in 2020. However, he has been asking for a fight with the current UFC featherweight Alexander Volkanovski for a long time.

But the UFC boss, Dana White, is ignoring all his demands and has set a featherweight title fight between Volkanovski and Chan Sung Jung next. Hence, ‘The Messenger’ is currently having a feud with White on the internet.

Meanwhile, Cyborg has also had a bad relationship with the UFC kingpin in the past. Hence, she expressed her support towards the former two-division champion on social media.

She wrote on Twitter, “I forgot about being in any Hall of Fame a long time ago. Keep your head up, champ!”

‘The Messenger’ believes he is worthy of the title fight next. However, considering the ongoing scenario in the featherweight division of UFC, a title fight for Cejudo might not be possible.
