Following this incident, Bellator CEO Scott Coker talked about the same. He said, “My thing is I just don’t want the fighters to get hurt, and the thing is no one is getting paid today. It’s like the fight happens on Saturday, everybody gets paid Saturday, so let’s save it, boys.”

“You know it’s like when they start going at it, I was like this could get bad, really quick. I feel like I just had to just keep them separated. We had security come in. And I think we might have to get extra security on Saturday night, just to be honest, I think we have to order more security.”

Coker is clearly not a fan of fighters getting physical outside of the cage and will do everything he can to prevent that from happening on Saturday.
