World No.3 Naomi Osaka recently uploaded a few pictures of her having a gala time on a gorgeous white-sand beach. The Japanese-American star, who turned 23, was celebrating with a vacation; although, she didn’t disclose her location. The 3-time Grand Slam champion was flooded with birthday wishes from all across the world.

However, the US Open champion got emotional when top singer Beyonce posted Osaka’s picture as the cover of one of her song pages for downloading. The “Say My Name” singer wrote “Happy Birthday Naomi Osaka” on her website page.

Osaka uploaded the picture on her Twitter account and added a couple of crying emojis to show her overwhelming joy.

Naomi Osaka-Beyonce first meeting

Last year, Osaka pulled out of the WTA Finals prematurely because of a shoulder injury. Having got an extended break, Noami took a trip to the Caribbean and got a chance to meet her music idol Beyonce and Jay Z for the first time. She talked about being star-struck after meeting Beyonce and revealed that the singer complimented her and was proud of her achievements.

Osaka added that meeting the legendary singer felt like a heavenly feeling and made her realize the impact tennis players can make. After winning the US Open for the second time, Naomi withdrew from the French Open 2020, citing injury. She is expected to play at Paris Masters, followed up by the WTA Finals.
