The teenager plays a game which is a blend of variety and power. She plays aggressive and comes up with drop shots and confuses her opponents with lobs and passing shots. Her inside-out forehand winners beautifully kiss the baseline and in a nutshell, Andreescu’s game is unpredictable.

“I can start with my game style; I think I play different than most players on the tour and it’s given a lot of difficulty for them when I play them, so I think that’s one,” Bianca Andreescu said.

Also, her activities on the court are different from others and she feels that everything she does is amusing. “And I guess just the things that I wear, how I act on camera, off-camera. I think I’m pretty funny, sometimes I have no filter which I think is very… like other people can connect with that and vibe with that,” Andreescu added.

World Number five, Bianca Andreescu makes her debut at WTA Finals this year. She lost her opening round match to Simona Halep after taking off the first set from her. She was disappointed after her slump against the Romanian hero in Shenzhen and apparently Andreescu dealt with back issues during the match.

“In the third set, I really don’t want to blame my back, but I felt like I didn’t have the same power as I did in the first and second set,” Bianca Andreescu mentioned after her loss. Up next, she is scheduled to play Karolina Pliskova in Shenzhen.

Previously, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitova and Dominika Cibulkova have won the WTA Finals title on their first attempt. Bianca Andreescu is looking forward to joining that list.
