Former UFC flyweight fighter Paige VanZant took to social media after her BKFC 19 bout that ended in a loss. VanZant was defeated by Rachael Ostovich with results that read as 48-47, 48-47, and 49-4. Paige VanZant stormed out of the ring and it’s safe to say she wasn’t pleased with the way the judges saw the fight.
However, the fans in the arena and those at home seemed to lean towards Ostovich who put a rigorous pace on VanZant. It was clear that Rachael Ostovich wasn’t going to be pressured by VanZant and her forward advancement paid dividends. Ostovich’s victory at BKFC 19 also avenged her UFC loss to Paige VanZant when they met back in 2019.

Paige VanZant promises a fiery return
VanZant hasn’t tasted victory in combat sports since she defeated Rachael Ostovich and she lost her final UFC fight to Amanda Ribas. Furthermore, she’s now 0-2 in BKFC losing to Britain Hart and now Ostovich. However, this hasn’t deterred Paige VanZant and she let her fans know that she will be back in full force.
VanZant desperately needs to follow through on her promise of coming out victorious to prevent a further downturn. However, her popularity outside combat sports allows her more legroom than most other competitors. Not to mention, she’s put forth a diligent display even in her losses and so her cache hasn’t been affected too much.

Moreover, she will also have a home with Bellator MMA if she so chooses as her husband, Austin Vanderford fights for that promotion. VanZant has ascended to the level that despite accruing losses, she’s a mainstay in combat sports.

However, Jorge Masvidal’s bare-knuckle promotion recently hit the ground running and will definitely be a major player in its own right.
