Multiplayer games are the most fun when played with friends. Treyarch certainly recognized this as it introduced a split-screen mode in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Owing to it, friends and family members can sit together and enjoy multiplayer games and Zombies mode on a single screen.

Surprisingly, the invisible tanks are a small part of the huge list of coding errors that have been discovered so far. At the time of launch, players couldn’t even start a game while using the split-screen in Zombies mode. Furthermore, playing multiplayer games resulted in a considerable drop in graphics and image rendering.

Treyarch soon rolled out a pre-season update to fix the aforementioned issues. Users could finally play Zombies on a split-screen, but the glaring issues in multiplayer remained.

Players are still reporting several visual bugs while playing on a split-screen. These include armless operators, floating guns, partially invisible extensive range scopes, invisible enemies, and texture glitches.

Treyarch is yet to make a statement on the matter, and until then, the Call of Duty community can either avoid the split-screen mode or expect the glitches to disappear after some games.
