Bloodlines: Date of Launch Delayed Indefinitely
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 has been delayed again. More information might be provided to us in the coming months but no fixed date has been discussed. The game, however, is not just targeting the current-gen platforms but will make its way to the next-gen consoles. Microsoft’s Smart Delivery program has offered a free version of the game on the next-gen console if purchased on the current-gen platform.
The update was shared via the games’ official Twitter account and this is what the devs had to say-
“Our goal has always been to deliver the best game possible, to immerse you into a Seattle re-imagined in the World of Darkness, and deliver a worthy successor to the original Bloodlines game,”. “Due to the quality bar and ambitions we have set for ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time.”
“This means that our goal to release in 2020 is no longer possible. Moving launch is one of the changes we are making to ensure the best player experience possible.”

What Next?
There is no news of the game being delayed due to the current global situation. The devs have said they need more time to polish the game and come out with a near-perfect title, could this mean that they are planning a complete shift to next-gen consoles?
Another RPG is set to launch this year. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on 19th November 2020. With the launch of Bloodlines 2 now delayed, it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 will be dominating the 4th quarter of this year. Could the launch of another RPG around the same time be a reason for the delay?
