Bodybuilders often start from a very young age and lift iron from the age of 15 or 16 or even younger. Arnold Schwarzenegger had started bodybuilding at the age of 14 and Mike Mentzer had started bulking at the age of 12. However, since the bulk starts from a young age, this might look odd to a spectator. Some people even suspect 21-year-old bodybuilding sensation Sam Sulek to be taking steroids because of his gains.

America’s Favorite Video Today

Something similar happened to Tom Cartmell who is a 16-year-old bodybuilding enthusiast and uploads his gains on his Instagram handle. A YouTube channel named Brokfit picked up his video and kind of picked him apart.

In the video, the boy is showing his gains in the mirror, and his Instagram handle is given above @tcartyyyy. The voiceover says, “This guy is 16 years old, just check out the size of those arms, they are massive. His triceps are huge he never skips arm day. The cut is going to be incredible.”

The cut is going to be incredible since he already has huge arms which might even be 20 inches give or take. According to his Instagram Tom is 16 years old and a natural, he also has a TikTok account by the name tc. fittt. He also has programs where he coaches young bodybuilders.

Followers of bodybuilding criticize him

All the comments were harsh and talked about how he is only 16 and these gains do not look healthy. One follower said, “It’s crazy how people start to ruin their life at 16 for attention.” Another commented, “Insane how young these kids are blasting gear.”

One follower pointed out, “What he is, is a dirty bulker. Anybody can do this, now can he actually cut all that fat surplus and also deal with the extra bad habits this dirty bulk came along with? I’m gonna hit the doubt button, most people fail on the cut after something like this.” Another follower was appreciative and said, “Look good, likely natural due to how much fat he is carrying on him.” One follower even said, “The real definition of a 16-year-old vegan.”
