In 1996, Coleman herniated his disc while squatting 600 lbs. Despite the constant pain, he didn’t seek medical attention and continued lifting weights and secured eight Mr. Olympia titles. But his injury remained, and when he decided to fix it after retirement, multiple botched-up surgeries deteriorated his situation.

Speaking about the legend, Rogan explained the critical condition of the King and said, “He’s had many many surgeries, and he’s basically had every disc in his back fused except for one and has a really hard time walking and even standing up.”

But the podcaster affirmed that he built his physique despite the pain. The 56-year-old credited Coleman’s success to his genetics and hard work. The King, who lost his mobility now, once credited Rogan for helping him overcome the unbearable pain due to his health condition.
