Dr. Mike Israetel, with his Ph.D. in Sports Physiology, has often helped the fitness community by giving crucial tips and suggestions for free. This time he opened everyone’s eyes by reflecting on how bro split exercises are still in fashion over more intense and super-workout routines.

Israetel shed light on the fact that it would be a bad choice for bigger, bulky, and jacked bodybuilders to always do superhuman workout sessions 5-6 times a week. He meticulously mentioned why they can get in trouble for overdoing those and hence the low-frequency workouts are still trending among the pros.

He then added, “You’ll probably notice have trended a bit more towards the lower frequencies Bro split or twice a week. Pros really do like the Jeff Nippard Five times a week, whole body thing. It’s not because that method is bad, that method’s great, but they are so f**king gigantic and so strong.”

Moreover, he also mentioned how one should not do consecutive super heavy workouts five-six times a week. They should also spare themselves from starting with squats, as that can add to an unforeseen injury. He commented, “I’m not ending my career with a tendon tear where I can warm up and do a bunch of high reps with leg extensions, leg presses, and then do 400 pounds in the squat. Get way less system fatigue.”

Dr. Mike Israetel is usually brutally honest about his opinions when reviewing someone’s fitness regimen. Once he had also critiqued the Witcher actor, Henry Cavill’s routine.
