Richard Gaspari recommends half reps for shoulder presses

Richard Gaspari recently took to his official Instagram account, @richgaspari, and shared a video of himself training one of his students inside the gym. He shared snippets from a shoulder routine and was teaching the gym goer the perfect way to do shoulder presses. He emphasized the fact that it is always better to go for half reps and keep the tension in your muscles.

In the caption he wrote, “When doing a shoulder press don’t go all the way to the top or to the bottom but do half reps but also keep continuous tension doing it feeling the burn the entire time.” He also elaborately explained why he thinks that half reps worked better than going all the way up and down and reducing the tension in your muscles.
