Luke Sherran said, “Bill Skarsgard looks shredded for the upcoming movie Boy Kills World, where he plays the role of a deaf and mute assassin.” The next picture in the YouTube short is of a bloody and injured Bill looking flawless with his shredded physique, wearing a red sleeveless jacket.

Bill needed to gain muscle for this role like his brother Alexander had done for Tarzan and The Northman. “This was an incredible journey into something completely new for me. I had two months to learn how to pretend how to fight well. [Action coordinator] Dawe Szatarski is a wizard, and he might’ve just pulled it off. The abs I credit another wizard, my main man Valdemar Fredriksson. I just showed up, slightly late,” he said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The YouTube video showed a clip of Bill’s older brother gushing at him saying, “He’s so cute this is my kid brother. This is Christmas day three years ago (showing a picture of Bill as Pennywise).” Bill Skarsgård took a 180-degree turn for this new role, where fans can see him in a new avatar. For gaining the muscles he needed for the role, he trained under Dawe Szatarski.

Bill Skarsgard learns martial arts for his new role

Skarsgard trained under Szatarski, who was coached by the late Brad Allan, a member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. Skarsgård had to learn martial arts for two months and developed a special movement style.

The normally svelte 6-foot-4 actor developed his physique and fighting skills to play the action character. The special movement style, along with his height, will “help make him an unconventional new-age action star,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
