As soon as this unique idea reached social media users, it there were mixed reactions. While some might consider this a good idea for beginners, many were strictly against it. Can gaming and bodybuilding go hand-in-hand?

Recently, GymFailNation’s Instagram account posted a video of a gym goer working out with a caption posing a question “Does your gym have these machines?In the video, a guy can be seen doing a preacher curl, with some of his attention taken up by the screen in front of him. 

 

According to the video, it seemed like the mini-game was helping the gymgoer control the tempo of his preacher curl, enabling maximum efficiency. The game was designed to play out according to the movement being done during the exercise. 

Fans started reacting to the post in their own unique ways. While some found this funny, many opposed it seriously.

Fans turn down the idea of Gym gamification 

One of the Instagram users came with a straightforward opinion and wrote plain and simple, “I don’t like it.” Seeing the funny side of the idea, one fan wrote, Install them to calf, abs machines and leg presses.On the other hand, one said, light weight babayreferring to the guy doing a workout while watching the game. Expressing the refusal to the idea a fitness enthusiast penned, “No your focus should be on your connection, if you’re watching this you ain’t fekin working hard enough. The end.Another commented, “I would lose my sh*t.”

Mocking the idea, another user wrote, “I’m sure the mind-muscle connection is amazing.Supporting the idea, one user said,I think it’s very good for beginners to learn the ideal timing they should have working out!
