Ross Edgley, the ultra marathon sea swimmer athlete has managed to leave the fitness community astounded a lot of times with his insane world records and has etched his name as a star sport. Edgley became the first person to cross the entire Great Britain in 2018, ticking off not one, but four world records during his epic swim. But to keep the milestones rolling, he continues to push his limits with his insane workouts. A recent one got his fans concerned.

Edgley even takes up several challenges that help him add to the list of accolades that he has acquired as a swimmer. While some help him live up to the hype that his records have created, others put his followers in a dilemma of whether what he is promoting must be allowed. His recent challenge too was one such questionable stance.

In preparation for the much-awaited ultra swims that are scheduled to be held in 2024, ultra-marathon swimmer Ross Edgley is in a spree of making attempts that will ensure his win. However, some of the challenges are simply gruesome, and well his 48-hour swim challenge is definitely one of them.

As he finished the challenge, he shared a video update and the consequences after his swim. And well, his feet were all cramped up after such prolonged exposure to water, and it indeed was alarming. As explained to him, the challenge was, Cold, hot, AND something never attempted before with the sports science GENIUS”.

Although Ross Edgley managed to complete the challenge, his feet were certainly not in great condition and this raised concern among the entire Internet community. They filled his post with mostly dismissive comments and asked him to be more careful.

The fitness community reacting to Ross Edgley’s challenge

The entire fitness community was surprised to see the condition of Ross Edgley’s feet after he had completed the challenge. One of them taking to the situation commented, “Bro you find ways to discover types of injuries that humanity didn’t even know about”. Another sharing his personal experience wrote, “I have seen that !! Myself!! When I was growing up I used to swim every day for hours and that’s what mine looked like !! Wish I had pictures 📷!! Stay Safe”.

A lot of followers were simply disgusted by the video of Ross Edgley’s legs and posted comments like, “I miss the life that I had before I saw this one” and “Class in a weird asf way.” Another fan, humorously simply wrote, “Can’t wait to witness that new challenge! ” Feet for duty ” 🙈”.
