Smith Machine presses were a significant part of his routine and he often exercised rest-pause sets. This also involved reaching the exercise till failure and pushing a couple of more reps in the end. The Smith Machine is known to be heavy and these were without additional plates which became a more challenging workout for him.

Incline pressing was one of the exercises that became his favorite and he did that exercise to get the best chest and get it in shape. His incline presses were performed on a low incline of approximately 30 degrees to target the chest muscles and not the deltoids.
