Recently, the former pop star found herself in hot water over an encounter with NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama. Security got involved when Spears tried to click a picture with a rising NBA prospect, resulting in an altercation. The scuffle attracted considerable media attention, and both parties shared their sides of the story. However, this year, Spears has had to deal with trauma even while searching for a fitness coach.
While it didn’t get as much media attention as the recent incident with the NBA rookie, Britney Spears opened up about body shaming in April. Spears revealed her fitness and body image struggles in a lengthy Instagram post. She also opened up about how a fitness trainer’s comments left her in tears.

On April 10, the pop icon uploaded a video explaining how she had been struggling to get and stay in shape. She started explaining how she had been working hard in the gym to attain her desired physique. While she got into shape, according to the 41-year-old, her hard work didn’t show in the paparazzi images.

Instead of seeing results, Spears only saw flaws. Hence, Spears thought about training under a fitness coach. Her search for a fitness trainer would end in tears. The singer revealed she had tried to hire a personal trainer in January. However, “the first thing she did to me was literally… and I’m not even lying… pinch the skin on my stomach and legs and told me I need to get my younger body back,” wrote the 41-year-old.

She also revealed that she continued to train “45 min, 3x a week.” While such an experience might deter many people, Spears likes to take care of her body and has a varied workout routine.

While the intensity of her workouts has decreased, Spears continues to pursue fitness. “God knows my body ain’t perfect, but I did want to share what my body,” Spears further wrote in the Instagram post. While her experience with the fitness trainer was traumatic, she didn’t let body shaming get in the way of her goals.
