The CrossFit games test participants in various aspects of fitness before crowing the winner. The recent edition of CrossFit games is special because a new winner was declared after six long years.

Laura Horvath was declared the fittest woman on earth after she displayed her caliber in a series of competitions during the CrossFit games. Now, her winning speech is inspiring a fellow athlete.

Leading a fit life needs discipline that ensures consistency. Cross Fit athletes will be tested for their fitness quotient, and Horvath has enough of that to be declared as the new fittest woman on earth. However, what impressed the CrossFit community was her empowering winning speech.

The young woman opined that she is not interested in the recent Barbie movie and instead appreciates her body looks and the extent it pushes. When asked how she feels about being the role model for many young girls and women, Horvath replied, “And I am not looking at the new Barbie movie “Oh I wanna look like that, I want to look like what I look like, and I just want to prove that my body, whatever it looks like, can do these amazing things.

Jessi Kuhlman, another CrossFit athlete, shared the inspiring message along with a workout video. Kuhlman was seen deadlifting heavy weights, rope climbing, and many more in the clip. She captioned her post, “We don’t wanna look like Barbie,” reiterating the words of Horvath. Both athletes denied getting into the clutches of beauty standards as they are improving their fitness standards. This year CrossFit games also broke the winning streak of Tia-Clair Toomey.

The Australian weightlifter is known for her strength among the fitness community. She ensured her winning streak at the CrossFit games since 2017. However, this year, she didn’t participate in the games for a happy reason.

Toomey recently became a mother to a baby girl. However, she didn’t quit hitting the gym during her pregnancy. The netizens are baffled to witness the 30-year-old lift heavy weights with a pregnant belly. But the elite athlete trained till she gave birth to her child and soon started training after giving birth.
