There is no shortcut to achieving a symmetrical aesthetic in bodybuilding. It takes years of dedication and unwavering patience to become the greatest of all time. Frank Zane, with 3 Olympia titles, is one of the legends whose Greek-god physique can neither be dismissed nor replaced.  

Although many years have passed since Zane’s retirement, he often uses his social media to show the right fitness path to aspiring bodybuilders. Recently, the bodybuilding legend uploaded one of his pictures from the past, with the caption of the post having some priceless advice to offer to the fitness world.

The caption of Zane’s recent Instagram post, shed some light on the importance of patience. He wrote, There is no rush to build a symmetrical proportionate body. Take your time, do a good job based on feedback from photos, and enjoy your training.” He suggested his fellow bodybuilders be patient and put consistent efforts into training without looking for any quickest method to success. Adding further, he penend,Remember it’s not about numbers.

 

Zane believed that “The scale and tape measure don’t translate into visual impressiveness.” Advising further, he said, So be sure to keep growing in the right places.

Unlike other bodybuilders who often prefer high-intensity training with a strict diet routine, Frank Zane has always chosen lightweight training methods. On the other hand, The God of Aesthetics also rolled with an out-of-the-box diet approach that helped him maintain his physique.

Frank Zane’s diet 

Once when he was asked about his approach to nutrition in one of his interviews with Bodybuilding.com, The legend said that he did not cater to what people said as he believed in his experience and out-of-the-box knowledge.

Sharing his approach to training and nutrition, he said, “It may be an idea to test but I basically have accumulated 50 years of training experience in things that I know work for me and they are what I resort to. So it doesn’t matter what other people say. If it is not my experience, I won’t practice it.” He further revealed that he consumed high protein, medium fats, and low carbs along with an intake of protein powder and amino acids for his diet.
