CEO of GymPositivity, Joey Swoll is again grabbing attention for calling out an adult gym goer for an illegal action. The bodybuilding champion and fitness coach, always tries to spread gym positivity and criticize people who unleash a toxic environment in the gym. The fitness coach takes the responsibility of gym positivity very seriously and is attempting to make the gym environment healthier.

This process recently led him to upload another Instagram video where he is calling out an adult gym goer, who has breached a basic protocol of humanity. Let’s dive into what the post was about.

Joey Swoll slams Jim Glover for this act

Joey Swoll uploaded an Instagram video showing a mirror selfie in the locker room by a certain Shucarelli. The picture showed him shirtless taking a mirror selfie with his phone. But what was shocking was the elderly man behind him. The man behind Shucarelli was changing his clothes and was caught on camera. The picture was not even blurred.

Joey immediately lashed out at the man taking the selfie and said, “This is so sad, so upsetting to see and what makes it worse, this is a grown a** man this is an adult that knows better.”

Swoll had to censor the elderly man and he said, “ I had to block out the older gentleman in the background and blur his face as he was changing completely naked in his locker room. There is nothing funny about this. This is disgusting, it is disrespectful, it is perverse. It is illegal by the way. You can face jail time.”

It is derogatory to not respect someone’s privacy, especially in the locker room, and Joey quickly judged the disrespectful behavior. 

Swoll calls out a woman for hogging equipment

Sometimes the city is very direct, just like in this case above. But at other times it is more subtle, and even the subtlety is called out by Swoll. In a previous video, the fitness coach had criticized a woman who was trying to hog all the gym equipment for herself because she was filming.

The man behind her was trying to do his reps and she captioned the post saying, “I was using the hypo extension machine and doing sets back and forth, & no lie this man was 4 inches from my a**…”

Swoll was not happy about this and reprimanded the woman saying, “You don’t get to selfishly hog equipment if you’re super setting 2-3 others exercises while people are waiting…”
